022YNQ Huawei OptiX OSN System Module

The Huawei 022YNQ is a TNS1UXCS cross-connect system board designed for use in Huawei OptiX optical transmission platforms. This board provides high-capacity cross-connect switching functionality, enabling efficient management and routing of traffic within SDH/MSTP networks.

The UXCS board is typically deployed in Huawei OptiX OSN series equipment, where it serves as a core switching component handling tributary and aggregate signal cross-connection. It supports the flexible configuration of transmission paths and protection switching within the node.

This is a legacy component from Huawei’s established optical transmission portfolio. While newer WDM and OTN platforms have since been introduced, the OptiX OSN series remains in active service across many carrier and enterprise networks, maintaining demand for replacement boards and spares.
