The Huawei 030BME is an SSN1SL64 single-port STM-64 optical interface board (SL64) for the OptiX OSN series SDH/MSTP transmission platforms. It receives and transmits one STM-64 optical signal at 10 Gbit/s, performing optical-to-electrical and electrical-to-optical conversion between the line and the cross-connect matrix, along with SDH overhead processing.

The board is used in the OptiX OSN 3500 and related equipment, providing a single high-capacity STM-64 line interface for metropolitan and backbone SDH transport. It is a legacy component of Huawei’s established SDH transmission portfolio and remains in service in many carrier and enterprise networks. Available from Tech Star as new or refurbished stock.
