The Huawei H801GPBC is a 4-port GPON OLT interface board for Huawei’s SmartAX MA5600T multi-service access platform. As part of the MA5600T’s GPON service board family (alongside related H801/H901-prefixed boards such as the H801XGBD and H901XGBD), the H801GPBC provides four GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) ports on the OLT (Optical Line Terminal) side of the network, terminating fibre connections from ONTs/ONUs at customer premises and aggregating that traffic back into the MA5600T subrack for onward delivery. The MA5600T platform is deployed by network operators as a large-capacity GPON OLT and multi-service access node, supporting a mix of GPON, Ethernet, VDSL2/ADSL2+ and POTS service boards within the same chassis to serve mixed fibre and copper customer bases.
