The Huawei H801GSCA is a 4-port GE (Gigabit Ethernet) Synchronous Ethernet board used in the SmartAX MA5600T multi-service access platform, compatible across all hardware versions of the MA5600T series. The board provides four synchronous Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) clock distribution, allowing timing to be recovered from and distributed across Ethernet links for network synchronisation in mobile backhaul and fixed access applications. It has a static power consumption of 8W and a maximum power consumption of 10W, and supports standard Ethernet frame sizes of up to 2052 bytes, extending to a maximum of 9216 bytes when jumbo frame support is enabled, making it suitable for carrying larger encapsulated payloads over the access network. As a service/uplink board within the MA5600T chassis it sits alongside other interface and control boards to provide Ethernet-based service delivery and backhaul connectivity for broadband access deployments.
