It is a full-height PCIe 2.0 x8 card with two LC-type shortwave-laser ports, operating at 2, 4 or 8Gbps link speed and supporting N_Port ID Virtualization (NPIV) through the Virtual IO Server, which lets a single physical port present as multiple virtual Fibre Channel adapters to different client partitions.
