IBM 80P3118: 2-way 1.45GHz POWER4+ processor card, CCIN 271C.

The IBM 80P3118 is a 2-way 1.45GHz POWER4+ processor card on a system backplane, CCIN 271C, for IBM’s pSeries and RS/6000 systems of this generation, in the same processor family as the feature 5220 and 5222 cards elsewhere in our range. It carries two 1.45GHz processor cores and slots into the system’s processor backplane, giving the host system its compute capacity.

Systems built around this processor generation remain in service in a number of established legacy Unix/AIX environments, and a matched-CCIN processor card is the standard field replaceable unit for restoring a failed processor or expanding an existing system. Confirm your exact host system model and existing CCIN before ordering, since mixing processor generations within one system is not supported.
