The JDSU 64P0320 is a genuine Uniphase-branded 1000BASE-SX optical SFP transceiver with digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), rated for 400m/200m/100m reach over OM1/OM2/OM3-class multimode fibre. JDS Uniphase traded simply as “Uniphase” on its optical component parts before the JDSU brand consolidation.

The module uses the standard duplex LC connector and the SFP MSA form factor, so it installs directly into any 1000BASE-SX-capable SFP cage on switches, routers and media converters. DDM support lets the host platform monitor transmit/receive optical power, bias current and temperature in real time, useful for pre-empting failing links.
