The Juniper NS-IDP-75 is an IDP75 Intrusion Detection and Prevention appliance, fitted with an internal hard disk, AC power supply and two Gigabit Ethernet copper ports with built-in bypass. It sits inline on the network and inspects traffic using up to eight detection methods, including protocol anomaly detection, stateful signature detection, backdoor and Trojan detection and DoS/DDoS protection, aimed at small and mid-size business or branch-office deployments where a full IDP 800 or IDP 8200 would be oversized.
