The NEC BE113017 GPZ-BS11 is a BUS expansion interface blade for the NEC UNIVERGE SV9100 communication platform. It provides the inter-chassis link that scales the system beyond a single enclosure, carrying the system BUS from the controlling chassis to an expansion 2U chassis. One GPZ-BS11 is fitted to each expansion cabinet (the second, third or fourth chassis) and connects by its attached BUS cable to the BUS interface in the controlling chassis, presenting a single RJ45 expansion port. It is a required component in any multi-chassis SV9100 installation, letting organisations add card slots and capacity as their telephony needs grow.
