Nortel Contivity 221: compact branch-office Contivity VPN router, 128-bit encryption.

The Nortel Contivity 221 is a Contivity VPN Router with a single Ethernet WAN interface and server software licensed for 128-bit encryption, a compact branch-office member of Nortel’s Contivity secure-router family. Contivity routers of this class terminate site-to-site and remote-access VPN tunnels back to a head-office Contivity concentrator, combining routing, firewall and VPN functions in one small-branch appliance rather than requiring separate devices. The 221 model sits at the entry end of the Contivity range, aimed at small branch or home-office deployments rather than the larger multi-tunnel concentrators used at a head office. Genuine Contivity 221 units of this generation remain a routine requirement for maintaining or expanding small-branch VPN connectivity on an existing Contivity deployment. Confirm the exact software licence and encryption level against your deployment before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks Nortel Contivity hardware to support ongoing network maintenance projects.
