Nortel NTHR21CA: 4-port OC-3c single-mode intermediate-reach ATM Function Processor for the Passport 15000 platform.

The Nortel NTHR21CA is a 4-port OC-3c single-mode intermediate-reach ATM Function Processor for the Nortel Passport 15000 multiservice switching platform, part of the same NTHR-prefixed function-processor family as this catalogue’s other Passport 15000 ATM and DS3 cards. It provides four OC-3c (155Mbps) single-mode fibre ATM interfaces at intermediate optical reach, letting a Passport 15000 shelf connect to ATM access or trunk circuits over fibre. Passport 15000 switches remain deployed at a number of established carrier sites running ATM infrastructure, and genuine function processors such as this one are a routine requirement for maintaining full port capacity. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies Passport 15000 hardware to support ongoing network maintenance. Confirm exact shelf and firmware compatibility before ordering.
