The IBM 00DH517 is a battery module for IBM FlashSystem 840 and FlashSystem 900 all-flash storage systems. It is a 10.8V, 63.2Wh lithium-ion pack.

The module provides battery backup power inside the FlashSystem enclosure. A battery that no longer holds its charge weakens that protection, so replacing a failed or ageing module is routine maintenance on these arrays.
