The IBM 00LP755 is a genuine 64GB DDR3-1600MHz CDIMM, feature code EM8D, CCIN 31EA, built for IBM Power8 servers including the 8286-41A, 8286-42A and 8247-42L, the same proprietary Custom DIMM (CDIMM) family as the 16GB EM8B module. The CDIMM form factor embeds IBM’s Centaur memory buffer chip on the module itself, so it only functions in these specific Power8 hosts and is not interchangeable with standard server DDR3. IBM’s alternate cross-reference numbers for the same module are 00JA677, 00VK220, 00VK196, 00VK197.
