IBM 80P6461: 2-way 1.9GHz POWER5 processor card, CCIN 272F, for pSeries 9117-570.

The IBM 80P6461 is a third 2-way 1.9GHz POWER5 processor card in the CCIN 272F family, alongside the IBM 80P6844 and 80P6838 processor cards elsewhere in our range, built for the IBM eServer p5/pSeries 9117-570 server. The 570’s modular design takes two processor card positions per drawer, with CCIN 272F cards combined across drawers to build system configurations from 2-way up to 16-way.

As one of IBM’s most widely deployed p5 platforms, the 570 remains in active service across many enterprise Unix/AIX estates, and a matched-CCIN spare card is the standard way to restore a failed processor position. Confirm your system’s existing CCIN and drawer configuration before ordering, since mixing processor clock speeds within one system is not supported.
