The IBM 80P6627 is an SA2 I/O drawer backplane, part of the 80P6626/80P6627/80P6638 board set, for the IBM 9406 and 9411 iSeries systems (including the 282A machine type). Fitted inside an SA2 I/O expansion drawer, it provides the internal wiring and connector sockets that the drawer’s I/O adapter cards plug into, letting the drawer’s PCI or PCI-X slots be attached to the main iSeries system unit over the system’s RIO or HSL loop.
