Newbridge 90-6085-01/J: hub card for the MainStreet Xpress 36170 ATM switch.

The Newbridge 90-6085-01/J is a hub card for the MainStreet Xpress 36170 ATM switch, catalogued in supplier parts lists simply as HUB. Boards in the 90- numbering series populate the switching and peripheral shelves of the 36170, and the hub function concentrates shelf-level connections so that peripheral shelves report back to the control card in the switching shelf. The /J on the end is a hardware revision marker rather than a different product.

Newbridge Networks built the MainStreet Xpress range and Alcatel took the company over in February 2000, after which the 36170 was remarketed as the Alcatel 7470 MSP. The platform is long out of vendor support and is kept running from held spares. We hold the board and will read its legend and revision before quoting. Tech-Star is UK-based and ships worldwide.
