The EMC 110-093-003B is a CPU module for the CLARiiON CX4 series, the processor and memory assembly that forms the core of a CX4 storage processor. It runs the FLARE operating environment, owns the RAID groups and LUN ownership for its side of the array, and holds the write cache that is mirrored across to the partner storage processor.

Because a CX4 runs its two storage processors as a redundant pair, one module can be replaced while the array stays online, with the surviving processor taking ownership of the LUNs until the replacement rejoins. The B ending denotes the build revision and is worth matching, since EMC shipped several revisions against the same base number. EMC became part of Dell in 2016.
