The Huawei SL91EM6T is an EM6T Ethernet interface board for the OptiX RTN 950/950A microwave IDU. It provides six electrical Ethernet ports, four Fast Ethernet plus two Gigabit Ethernet, all RJ45, carrying packet services across a Hybrid or Packet microwave node. The Gigabit electrical interfaces support 10/100/1000 Mbit/s with auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X auto-crossover, so either straight-through or crossover cabling can be used. The EM6T is the all-electrical member of the RTN 900 Ethernet board family; the EM6F variant provides optical ports instead. It installs in a service slot of the RTN 950 chassis and works with the CSH system-control and switching board to switch packet traffic. It is widely used in mobile-backhaul networks.
