Huawei WP11XPUB OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP11XPUB is an XPUb, a universal signalling and service processing board for the Huawei BSC6900 and RNC6900 base station controllers. It processes signalling and controls services inside the controller subrack, providing part of the capacity that manages calls, packet sessions and handovers across the connected GSM and UMTS radio access network. It is a processing board, not an optical cross-connect or transmission card. The XPUb installs in a PARC subrack together with the switching (SCU), clock (GCU) and interface (FG2/GOU) boards, and adding processing boards raises controller capacity. Signalling processing boards are a common maintenance and expansion spare for operators running BSC6900 and RNC6900 equipment.
