Timeplex BPM Bypass Module for the Timeplex LINK-family multiplexer chassis.

The Timeplex BPM is a Bypass Module for the Timeplex LINK-family time-division multiplexer system. It is a plug-in card that fits the same chassis as the system’s other synchronous and voice processor modules.

As a bypass module it provides a fallback path within the multiplexer chassis, keeping a link available if part of the processing chain is unable to handle it normally. Detailed switching behaviour is not published by surviving documentation, so it should be treated at a functional level: a bypass path module rather than a data or voice processor card.
