Timeplex

Timeplex was founded in 1969 and became a leading name in private backbone networking, launching a succession of statistical multiplexers through the 1980s that culminated in the LINK family of T1 multiplexers and the LINK/2+ platform. Unisys acquired the company in 1987 and sold it to Ascom in 1991, after which it traded as Ascom Timeplex. LINK-family chassis were widely deployed by enterprises and carriers building private voice and data networks before IP convergence, and they remain in service where those networks were never replaced. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished Timeplex hardware including quad voice modules, quad synchronous controller and processor cards, digital voice processor modules, interlink controllers and bypass modules. Refurbished Timeplex cards are in demand as spares for the installed LINK and LINK/2+ base. Submit any Timeplex part number via the enquiry form for current pricing, condition information and availability.
