The Ericsson MMU2 4-34 is a modem and modulator unit used within Ericsson’s MINI-LINK point-to-point microwave transmission system, supporting a maximum traffic capacity of 34+2 Mbit/s. The MMU modulates digital traffic onto the radio-frequency carrier for transmission and demodulates the received signal, with the link’s software-configurable capacity and frequency bandwidth set up to its maximum rating.

It plugs into an Ericsson AMM equipment magazine alongside a node processor (NPU) and power units, and interfaces to an outdoor radio unit (RAU) to complete a microwave transmission hop; in an AMM 2p configuration, two MMUs can be fitted to support a protected 1+1 terminal or repeater site.
