The 3CSFP93 is a 3Com 1000BASE-T copper SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceiver module, designed to add gigabit Ethernet copper connectivity to SFP-based switches, routers and media converters. It operates at 1.25 Gbps over standard Category 5e/6 twisted-pair cabling via an RJ-45 connector, with a reach of up to 100 metres, making it a straightforward way to extend or convert a fibre-only SFP port to copper without replacing the host chassis.
