Huawei TN51ATE OptiX OSN 8800 T64/T32 Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei TN51ATE is an Alarm and Timing and Expanding (ATE) interface board designed for the OptiX OSN 8800 T64 and T32 optical transport subracks. It centralises environmental and third-party alarm monitoring for the transmission chassis, providing eight configurable alarm input channels for remote monitoring of external system alarm signals such as door, smoke, temperature or power alarms, plus eight alarm output interfaces that forward consolidated alarm status to a centralised network alarm management system. As an auxiliary system-control board the TN51ATE works alongside the subrack system control boards to extend environmental monitoring reach beyond the optical service boards themselves, which is useful in unmanned or remote transmission huts where third-party equipment such as generators, air conditioning or security systems need to be folded into the same alarm plane as the transport network. It is a slot-specific board designed for the OSN8800 T64 and T32 chassis and is not compatible with smaller OSN chassis variants.
