Nortel 32UPB00302ETE: PDMX Nx64 kbit/s tributary card for Nortel telecommunications transmission and networking systems.

The Nortel 32UPB00302ETE is an Nx64 kbit/s tributary card, carrying a group of 64 kbit/s channels bundled together as a single higher-rate circuit through the multiplexer. It plugs into a Nortel PDMX shelf, the manufacturer’s programmable digital multiplexer platform for private-network PDH transmission, in which a common control unit manages the 2 Mbit/s trunk connection while dedicated tributary cards carry the individual voice and data circuits. Equipment of this generation continues to run in private networks that have not migrated off PDH transmission, and genuine spares such as this one are needed to repair a failed channel, keep a shelf at full working capacity, or support planned maintenance. As with any legacy transmission spare, confirm the exact card revision and shelf compatibility against your installed system before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies refurbished Nortel spares for engineers maintaining PDH transmission equipment of this type.
