Nortel EB1639092: VPN Gateway 3050, 4-port EN1000B-T dedicated VPN appliance.

The Nortel EB1639092 is a VPN Gateway 3050, a 4-port dedicated VPN appliance with EN1000B-T Gigabit Ethernet interfaces from Nortel’s VPN Gateway range, built to terminate large numbers of IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for remote-access and site-to-site connectivity. It sits at the network edge alongside or in place of a router, handling encryption, authentication and tunnel management as a dedicated function rather than sharing that load with general-purpose routing hardware. Nortel’s VPN Gateway and related Contivity ranges remain deployed in a number of established enterprise remote-access installations. Confirm software licence level and required tunnel capacity against the specific deployment before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) holds Nortel spares for network engineers supporting these platforms. Please get in touch for current stock and pricing.
