The Nortel NTYS17BAE6 is a global IP Phone power supply for Nortel’s 11xx, 12xx and 200x-series IP deskphones, supplied without an IEC power cord (the correct country-specific cord must be ordered separately) and built to RoHS specification. It provides local mains power to the phone at the desk in installations that are not using Power over Ethernet (PoE) from the switch. Tech-Star supplies this as a secondary-market spare for engineers maintaining an existing non-PoE IP deskphone deployment across the 11xx/12xx/200x range. Nortel sold this power supply as a single global unit precisely because deskphone installations span many countries with different mains plugs, so stocking one power-supply SKU alongside the appropriate local IEC cords is simpler for a multi-site rollout than stocking country-specific power packs.
