Avaya TN2464CP: DS1 interface circuit pack (24-ch T1/32-ch E1) for Avaya Definity/G3 PBX.

The Avaya TN2464CP is a DS1 interface circuit pack for the Avaya Definity/G3 PBX platform, configurable for 24-channel T1 or, with the appropriate software setting, 32-channel E1 digital trunking, and terminating either as a robbed-bit T1 span or as an ISDN-PRI circuit depending on how the system is provisioned.

Definity was AT&T’s and then Lucent’s enterprise PBX, carried forward by Avaya as Communication Manager, and it is built from a cabinet of TN-prefixed circuit packs. DS1/T1/E1 trunk cards sit alongside analogue CO trunk cards, line cards for extensions, tone and announcement packs and control packs for the processor complex. The platform ran for decades with the same physical card format, which is why individual packs are still traded and still fit.
