The Cisco CP7912G-SIP is a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7912G running SIP firmware, a single-line business desk phone aimed at cubicle, retail, classroom and light-traffic environments.

The 7912G integrates a two-port Ethernet switch for daisy-chaining a colocated PC, a pixel-based display with four dynamic soft keys, and support for inline Power over Ethernet. Running the SIP load, it registers to a SIP-based call control platform using standard SIP signalling, with G.711 and G.729a codec support and DHCP/TFTP-based provisioning. Cisco has since retired the 7912G, but many SIP environments still run them for basic extension coverage.
