Sourcefire

Sourcefire was an American network security company, founded in 2001 by the creator of the open source Snort intrusion detection engine, and best known for its 3D System intrusion prevention appliances. Cisco acquired Sourcefire in 2013 and built its FirePOWER range on the technology. Hardware from before then is badged Sourcefire and is listed here under the name on the label.
