The Ericsson KRC161864/1 is a Radio 2279 remote radio unit (RRU) designed for LTE mobile network deployments. This dual-band unit supports frequency bands B1 (2100 MHz) and B3 (1800 MHz), enabling operators to deliver 4G coverage across two of the most widely deployed FDD-LTE spectrum bands globally.

The Radio 2279 is part of Ericsson’s Radio System portfolio, typically deployed at cell sites as part of a distributed base station architecture.
