Huawei H801XGBD MA5600T series OLT (MA5608T/MA5683T/MA5680T) Optical Transmission Module

The Huawei H801XGBD is an 8-port 10G GPON OLT interface board for Huawei’s MA5600T series platforms, working with the ONU to provide 10G GPON access service with a maximum split ratio of 1:256. The board runs at a port rate of 10 Gbit/s transmit and 2.5 Gbit/s receive, and is built for the MA5608T, MA5683T and MA5680T OLT chassis, giving operators high-density GPON access line capacity across an extended -40C to +65C operating temperature range with a startup temperature as low as -25C, making it suitable for outdoor and cabinet-mounted deployments. Architecturally the board integrates a control module that loads its software and manages board operation, a switching module that aggregates the eight 10G GPON ports, an interface module converting between GPON and Ethernet framing, a power module, and a clock module supplying the board’s working timing reference. As a long-established Huawei access platform, genuine H801XGBD boards are recovered from decommissioned or upgraded MA5600T chassis and tested before resale, since new manufacture of this legacy line card has ceased.
