Huawei SL1D (SL91SL1D) SDH tributary board for the OptiX RTN 900 microwave IDU; transmits/receives 2x STM-1 optical signals, with ALS, SNCP and MSP protection.

The Huawei SL91SL1D is an SL1D board for the OptiX RTN 900 series microwave IDU (RTN 950/950A). The SL1D is an SDH tributary board that transmits and receives two STM-1 optical signals, adding SDH transport interfaces to the microwave node. It supports automatic laser shutdown (ALS), SNCP and linear MSP protection, in-loop and out-loop on the optical interfaces, and out-loop on VC-4 paths. In the RTN 950 IDU the board installs in any of service slots 1 to 6 and hands SDH traffic to and from the system through the CSH control and cross-connect board. The SL1D is used where a microwave site must also terminate SDH optical links. Available from Tech-Star as new or refurbished stock; submit a price enquiry for availability and lead time.
