The Huawei SL91SL1D02 is an SL1D SDH tributary board for the OptiX RTN 900 series microwave IDU (RTN 950/950A). It transmits and receives two STM-1 optical signals, giving the microwave node SDH transport interfaces. The board supports automatic laser shutdown (ALS), SNCP and linear MSP protection, in-loop and out-loop testing over the optical interfaces, and out-loop on VC-4 paths. It is a line board that installs in any of service slots 1 to 6 of the RTN 950 IDU and exchanges SDH traffic with the CSH system-control and cross-connect board; it is not the indoor unit (IDU) itself. The SL1D is used where a microwave site must also terminate SDH optical links. Available from Tech-Star as new or refurbished stock; submit a price enquiry for availability and lead time.
