Huawei WP11GOUA OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP11GOUA is a GOUa, a packet-over-GE optical IP interface unit for the Huawei BSC6900 and RNC6900 base station controllers. It provides Gigabit Ethernet optical interfaces that carry IP transport between the controller and the mobile core network or IP backhaul. Although it uses optical GE ports, it is a controller interface board and not part of an OptiX optical transmission platform. The GOUa installs in a PARC subrack and works with the switching (SCU) and processing (DPU/XPU) boards to move packet traffic, supporting the IP transport migration of GSM and UMTS controllers. Optical IP interface units are a common maintenance and capacity spare for operators running BSC6900 and RNC6900 equipment.
