Huawei WP11GCUA OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP11GCUA is a GCUa, the General Clock Unit for the Huawei BSC6900 base station controller and the RNC6900 platform. It generates and distributes the system reference clock and RFN timing signals across the controller subracks, keeping the switching, processing and interface boards synchronised and providing the timing reference the radio access network relies on. It is a clock and timing board, not an optical transmission unit. The GCUa installs in a PARC subrack, usually in a redundant pair, alongside the switching (SCU) and operation and maintenance (OMU) boards.
