Huawei WP1D000XPU01 OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP1D000XPU01 is an XPUb universal signalling processing board used in the Huawei BSC6900 base station controller and RNC6900 radio network controller. The board handles signalling-plane processing on the GSM and UMTS control planes, managing the call-control and mobility signalling that coordinates communication between the controller and the connected base stations. The XPUb offers substantially higher processing capacity than the earlier XPUa and is deployed with board-level redundancy so that a standby unit protects the active one. It sits in the PARC (Packet Abis and Radio Controller) subrack alongside the general control, clock, switching and data processing units that make up the platform. This is a legacy carrier-grade component, and refurbished units are a cost-effective way to maintain existing BSC6900 or RNC6900 deployments or to keep replacement stock on hand.
