The IBM 19P4089 is an SLR60 quarter-inch cartridge tape drive, 30GB native and 60GB compressed capacity, internal half-height 5.25-inch form factor with a SCSI interface, IBM feature codes 5753 and 6384 (also cross-referenced as 97P5354 and 39J4140). SLR60 reads and writes SLR60, MLR3 and QIC5010 media, at up to 4MB/s native or 8MB/s with 2:1 compression, and was IBM’s mid-range quarter-inch tape option for AS/400 and iSeries backup before LTO became the standard.
