The Juniper M40-DC-Bundle is a complete Juniper M40 router chassis fitted with two DC power supplies, a fan tray and a second-generation System Control Board (SCB II). The M40 was one of Juniper’s original core/edge routing platforms, built around a passive backplane with hot-swappable Flexible PIC Concentrators, and the SCB performs route lookup, filtering and switching for all traffic passing through the chassis while also hosting the routing engine. This bundle is the base DC-powered system without FPCs or PICs fitted, intended as a foundation for building out or repairing an existing M40 deployment. Confirm DC power availability at the install site before ordering, since this bundle does not include AC supplies. Tech-Star is UK-based and ships worldwide.
