Nokia 472291A FRMB Frame Module for telecommunications systems.

The Nokia 472291A is the FRMB, a Flexi remote radio head (RRH) for the 800 MHz band (Band 20, EU). It is a 2T2R (two transmit, two receive) outdoor radio unit delivering 2 x 40 W, providing the FDD-LTE air interface and connecting to a Flexi or AirScale baseband unit over OBSAI optical fronthaul. The low 800 MHz band gives strong wide-area coverage and in-building penetration, making the FRMB a common choice for rural and suburban macro sites. It is built in a passively cooled cast aluminium housing with an IP65 rating for outdoor tower and rooftop mounting. Within the Nokia Flexi Multiradio platform it delivers the coverage-layer radio. It is supplied refurbished as a spare or replacement radio.
