The Nokia 472930A is the FRMF, a Flexi radio frequency module (RFM) for the 800 MHz band (Band 20). It is an outdoor multi-carrier radio unit delivering up to 6 x 60 W and is typically deployed for FDD-LTE coverage, connecting to a Flexi or AirScale baseband unit over OBSAI/CPRI optical fronthaul. The low-band 800 MHz spectrum makes it well suited to wide-area rural and suburban coverage and to in-building penetration. It uses a passively cooled cast aluminium enclosure with an IP65 rating for tower, mast and rooftop mounting. Within the Nokia Flexi Multiradio platform the FRMF supplies the air-interface radio layer for the LTE coverage band. It is available refurbished as a spare or capacity-expansion unit.
