Nokia 472824A Fixed Network Telecom System Card / Module

The Nokia 472824A is the FXED, a Flexi radio frequency module (RFM) for the 1800 MHz band (Band 3). It is an outdoor multi-carrier radio unit that transmits and receives the GSM, EDGE and LTE air interface, connecting to a Flexi or AirScale baseband unit over OBSAI/CPRI optical fronthaul. The FXED is built in a passively cooled cast aluminium housing with integrated heat-sink fins and an IP65 rating for tower, mast and rooftop deployment. The 1800 MHz band supports a balance of capacity and coverage on macro networks. Within the Nokia Flexi Multiradio platform the FXED provides the 1800 MHz air-interface radio layer. It is supplied refurbished as a cost-effective spare or capacity-expansion module.
