The DTI card terminates a 2Mbit E1 digital trunk onto the switch, converting the trunk’s framed timeslots into the switch’s internal signalling for onward routing. Tech-Star supplies this as a secondary-market spare for maintaining or expanding trunk capacity on an existing Meridian 1 Option 11 installation.
