Nortel NTVW00CJ (telecommunications transmission and networking portfolio) Telecom System Card / Module

The Nortel NTVW00CJ is a Nortel-branded AudioCodes Mediant 2000 digital VoIP media gateway, in the 4-span, dual-AC-power, SIP configuration, the higher-span-count sibling of the 1-span and 2-span Mediant 2000 units also catalogued here. AudioCodes built the underlying Mediant 2000 hardware, which Nortel resold under its own numbering as the Nortel Media Gateway 3200 family; the part’s own record also references GENBAND, the carrier VoIP vendor that acquired Nortel’s Carrier VoIP and Application Solutions (CVAS) business in 2010 and later merged with Sonus Networks in 2017 to form Ribbon Communications, indicating this unit’s provenance sits within that ownership chain rather than a separate hardware relationship. A 4-span unit terminates up to four E1/T1 digital trunks and converts them to SIP, roughly double the trunk capacity of the 2-span variant. Genuine units such as this one are a routine requirement for maintaining or expanding an existing Nortel/AudioCodes gateway deployment. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks components.
