The 3Com Switch 5500-EI PWR 52-Port (3CR17172-91) is the high-density PoE member of the 5500-EI PWR range, delivering IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet across 48 10/100 access ports alongside 4 SFP Gigabit uplinks.

Every port can supply up to 15.4W, and when units are stacked using 3Com XRN technology, a stack of eight switches can deliver PoE with N+1 power redundancy across all 384 ports, making it suited to large VoIP or wireless rollouts.
