3Com 3CRWE876075: Wireless 8760 dual-radio PoE access point covering 802.11a and 802.11b/g at once.

The 3Com 3CRWE876075 is the Wireless 8760 Dual-Radio 11a/b/g PoE Access Point, a step up from the single-radio 7760 model. The 8760 runs two internal radios simultaneously, covering 802.11a on one and 802.11b/g on the other, so it can serve both bands from a single unit rather than needing separate access points.

It supports up to 64 wireless users per radio (128 in total), is powered entirely over its Ethernet cable via PoE, and includes WDS support for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and repeater bridging on both radios. Security covers WPA/WPA2 with AES or TKIP encryption, WEP up to 152-bit, and 802.1X/MAC-based authentication against a backend RADIUS server.

This makes it a solid dual-band option for offices needing simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz coverage from one access point, particularly where 3Com/HP wireless controllers are already in use. Tech-Star is UK-based and ships worldwide. Get in touch to confirm compatibility with your wireless network.
