The IBM 00LP865 is a DCA-ZN (Distributed Converter Assembly) power module from the z14-generation family, sharing its family and function with 00LR292 and 01KV555, a 4400W DCA-ZN unit. DCAs convert the frame’s bulk DC feed down to the regulated voltages the CPC drawer needs, and IBM runs several in parallel per drawer so that any single unit can be replaced live without an outage.
