The EMC 103-051-100 is a management module for the CLARiiON CX4 series. It provides the out of band management path into the storage processor enclosure, presenting the Ethernet service and management ports through which Navisphere or Unisphere reaches the array.

The module sits outside the data path, so a fault on it takes management access away without interrupting host I/O, which is why replacement is usually planned rather than urgent. CX4 storage processor enclosures take one module per storage processor. Check the revision printed on the label against the one you are replacing, since EMC issued more than one build against the CX4 chassis and they are not always interchangeable. EMC became part of Dell in 2016 and CLARiiON is supported under Dell EMC today. Refurbished.
