ZyXEL ES-1024B, a 24-port unmanaged 10/100 rack-mount Ethernet switch, the later revision of the ES-1024.

The ZyXEL ES-1024B is a 24-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch in a 1U rack-mount case, the later production revision of the ES-1024 design. It provides 24 autosensing 10/100BASE-TX ports with auto-MDI/MDIX on every port, a non-blocking store-and-forward switch fabric, an 8K MAC address table and IEEE 802.3x flow control, all with an internal power supply. There is nothing to configure, which is exactly why it stayed in service for so long in small offices, workshops and school comms cupboards. The B revision is functionally interchangeable with the earlier ES-1024A, so either can be used to make good a failed unit in an existing rack. Units of this age are supplied refurbished.
