The HP JD092B is an X130 10G SFP+ LC SR transceiver, the short reach 10 Gigabit module from HP’s A-series and later Comware based switches. It uses 850 nm optics over multimode fibre with an LC duplex connector and supports digital optical monitoring, which lets the host switch report transmit and receive power for the link. The X130 and X132 families cover the same optical standards but were qualified against different switch ranges, so the correct J-number for the host matters.

Transceivers are the pluggable optics that decide the reach and media of a switch or router port, and HP sold them under the X120, X130 and X132 names across the SFP, SFP+ and later form factors. Reach and wavelength vary by model, from short range multimode inside a building to extended reach single mode across a metro span, and copper SFPs cover short RJ-45 runs. HP switches check the vendor code on the module, so matching the exact J-number matters.
